01: Initial Contact
Customers reach out by phone, email, or in person after an accident. The team’s goal is to reduce stress and guide them through the process from start to finish.
02: Initial Estimate or Repair Scheduling
Often times our customers come to our facility to "Get an Estimate" while this has been the most common practice for insurance companies in the past, it is becoming more common for the customer to let the insurance company know who he/she would like to repair their vehicle. The customer then schedules the appointment to have the repairs done. This way the insurance company and Mohawk Collision Center work together to create a complete repair plan for the vehicle.
03: Vehicle Drop-Off
When the vehicle is dropped off, it’s prewashed, and a detailed walk-around confirms repair areas. Paperwork is completed, and rental arrangements are handled if needed. This takes ~ 45 minutes.
04: Blueprint & Repair Planning
Technicians disassemble the vehicle, perform diagnostic scans, and research manufacturer repair procedures. Hidden damage is identified, and a complete repair plan is created.
05: Insurance & Customer Approval
The repair plan is sent to the insurance company and customer for approval before work begins.
06: Parts Delivery
Once approved, parts are ordered and typically arrive within one to three business days.
7: Body Repairs
Certified collision technicians complete the structural and cosmetic repairs using factory-approved methods and equipment.
8: Refinishing
Refinish technicians match and apply paint using a computerized color system, spray booths, and advanced curing processes.
09: Reassembly
After curing and polishing, the vehicle is reassembled, ensuring all components fit and function properly.
10: Detail
The vehicle is cleaned and detailed, both inside and out, in preparation for delivery.
11: Post Repair Scan
A final diagnostic scan ensures all systems are functioning correctly according to manufacturer specifications.
12: Final Quality Control Check

13: Delivery
